This is a Garmin 295 colour aviation GPS, plus many accessories. It is in very good condition with an unmarked screen. The is a UK supplied unit pre-loaded with the European base maps and was updated last year with Jeppesen update "j295-eer-0806".
The accessories include mounting bracket, Pooleys carry bag, cigarette lighter power lead and a PC data lead with USB adapter. The data lead has an additional external battery box to avoid the usual Garmin problem of the internal batteries running out during data transfer. These units will flatten batteries very quickly; hence it’s usual to use the power lead whilst in flight.
Both of the manuals are included together with an additional 128mb data card (worth £50 on its own) loaded with the Garmin Metro UK road map which can be overlaid onto the aviation maps to give much more ground detail whilst in flight.
The drivers for the USB-Serial programming lead will be sent to the buyer and all of the Garmin programming software can be downloaded from the Garmin website.
I’ve really enjoyed using this unit to fly all around the UK over the last few years and it’s with much regret that financial problems have forced me to part with it.
