Exceptional opportunity to acquire 1/5th share in established syndicate; hangared and fully rigged at Redhill Aerodrome. Over the last few months we have expanded our group and are now looking for a final fifth member. Our hangar has just been refurbished and we share the pilot’s lounge with tea making facilities, toilets and free Wi-Fi.
MYSP started its life in 1992 as an ESD taildragger but was later converted with new cockpit airframe to tricycle undercarriage and upgraded with flaps to provide full 450kg MAUW.
Fitted with Electric Start, Rotax 582 oil injected engine & centrifugal clutch (avoids 2-stroke low rev judder & wear on start-up which you have to experience to really fully appreciate).
Ground adjustable pitch Ivo Prop 3-blade propeller.
Renovated in 2009 with NEW Rans fabric covers (that both with little use and additional loose covering whilst hangared has kept the fabric pristine).
Permit just renewed April 2013.
60+litre fuel tank and fuel consumpton around 12-15 ltrs/hr (Mogas).
Full width luggage bag.
Standard instruments but with superb Microair built-in radio.
Airframe around 640hrs
Engine around 520hrs
Engine overhauled every 50 hours.
Regular crank bearing tolerance checks - no significant wear - well within tolerances.
This aircraft has been continuously hangered and is currently within a secure hangar in Redhill aerodrome. Monthly costs will be very low at just £60 per month (per 1/5th share) to cover all fixed costs like hangarage, permit, insurance etc.
Flying Costs: £17/hr dry to maintenance fund (top up to 60 litres when you have finished).
We are asking just £1,500 for this final 1/5th share (but will consider sensible offers as the main reason for selling the share is to increase membership to complete our group) and with low ongoing costs and excellent hangerage facilites you really can't get much cheaper flying that this.
