I am looking to form a group around a Gardan Minicab currently hangared at a pleasant rural strip in Temple Bruer just north of Cranwell.
The aircraft has an interesting history, it was flight tested and later owned by Roly Beaumont who, as chief test pilot first flew the TSR2.
G AWEP has a 90hp engine and delivers a 90kt cruise at 2100rpm using just 4 galls per hour; Electric start, Alternator, Brakes, Flaps and Cabin heat are all fitted.
The aircraft has been valued at £13,750 and the fixed costs for insurance and hangarage will be £2000.
So... for a 3 member group we'll be looking at an investment of £4,500 with £60 monthly charge. Dry flying costs will be minimal.
A joint ownership with myself will be welcomed with a suitably experienced pilot who wants a flying hobby.
