The 109 Flying group has 1/10th share available in Grob 109b motor glider G-BLUV based at North Weald in Essex in friendly well established group.
Easy to fly very economical aircraft that will tour at 90 knots at 15 litres an hour. It can also be flown as a glider at 28:1 at no hourly cost.
Availability is excellent (less than 60 tacho hours flown in 2011). The group is made up of a mixture of power and glider pilots and welcomes both.
Costs: £60 per month and £50 per tacho hour. The aircraft has always been well maintained and had full prop overhaul in Oct 2011 and was recently fitted with Mode S transponder.
